Éditions 60MN
Privacy policy
This website sets no advertising cookies, uses no analytics, and the manuscripts entrusted to us remain confidential.
IPersonal data
Limited collection
This policy describes how Éditions 60MN processes personal data, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 (the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, as amended.
Data controller
The data controller is the publishing house Éditions 60MN. For any question about your data, please write to [email protected].
Browsing the website
The website uses no advertising tools, no analytics and no social media pixels. Fonts are hosted on the website’s own server: no data is sent to a third party to display them. No data collection form is active at present.
Technical connection data (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser used) is recorded automatically by the services required to host, deliver and secure the website. It is used solely to keep the website running and to protect it against abuse, which is the legitimate interest of the house.
Cookies
The website sets no analytics, advertising or social media cookies. The website’s security service may set a strictly technical cookie used to distinguish visitors from malicious bots; this type of cookie does not require consent.
Emails and manuscripts
When you write to Éditions 60MN or submit a manuscript, we process the information you send us: name, contact details, the content of your message, your manuscript and attachments. This data is used solely to review your text, to reply to you and, where appropriate, to prepare a possible editorial collaboration. This processing is based on your voluntary submission and on steps taken at your request prior to a possible publishing contract.
This information is never sold, rented or used for advertising purposes.
Recipients
Your data is accessible only to the people within the house responsible for reading and correspondence. It also passes through our technical service providers (website hosting, delivery and security network, email), who act on our behalf and may not use it for any other purpose.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union, in particular in the United States. Such transfers are covered by the safeguards provided for by the GDPR: an adequacy decision (Data Privacy Framework) or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Retention periods
- Manuscripts not selected: deleted no later than twelve months after receipt.
- Correspondence: kept for three years after the last exchange, then deleted.
- Technical connection data: kept by our providers for a limited period not exceeding twelve months.
- Manuscripts selected for publication: kept for the duration of the editorial relationship.
Newsletter
No newsletter subscriptions are collected at present. If this service opens, this page will be updated before any collection, and subscription will be based on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

Confidentiality of texts
Submitting a manuscript means entrusting us with work that is often long and personal. We undertake to treat it with the discretion it deserves.
- Your text is read only by the people responsible for selection within the house.
- It is never circulated, reproduced or disclosed to third parties without your written consent.
- No part of your text is used or exploited by the house outside a publishing contract signed with you.
- Your manuscript is not used to train artificial intelligence tools.
- Submitting a manuscript transfers no rights: you remain its sole rights holder.
- You may withdraw your manuscript and request its deletion at any time.
Before submitting to any publisher, we recommend that you keep proof of the date of your text, for example by registering it with an official copyright or deposit service in your country.
IIIYour rights
Exercising your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, as well as the right to restrict processing, the right to object and the right to data portability. Under French law, you may also set out instructions regarding what happens to your data after your death.
To exercise these rights, write to [email protected]. We will reply within one month. Proof of identity may be requested in case of reasonable doubt.
If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL), at cnil.fr, or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.
